Retail registrations for non-luxury, turbocharged small hatchbacks are down 21 percent in 2016 as buyers are snapping up SUVs.

Ford, America’s truck leader for nearly 40 years, will enter its all-new 2017 F-150 Raptor in the 49th running of the SCORE Baja 1000 off-road endurance event, Nov. 16-20. Four-time Baja 1000 winner Greg Foutz will pilot the truck. Ahead of the race, the Ford Performance-supported F-150 Raptor will be on display at the 2016 SEMA show, Nov. 1-4.

It may not be the first country that first comes to mind for sports cars, but drivers in Belgium have fallen head over heels for the new Ford Mustang. Of more than 21,000 new Mustangs that Ford has now sold across Europe, 1,600 went to Belgian enthusiasts. That’s one for every 4,693 of the country’s 7,659,000 drivers – a far higher proportion than anywhere else in Europe

Ford Fiesta is one of the 10 Best Back-to-School Cars of 2016, according to Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com. This is the second year in a row Kelley Blue Book has named Fiesta to the list.

Ford’s total vehicle sales in April in its European 20 traditional markets* were its best in the month since 2009, with passenger car sales at their highest since 2010, and commercial vehicles achieving their peak April sales since 1993.
